LA
Went to LA with my good buddy and killer photographer Anthony Kurtz a lil while back. We played around with his new pocket wizards for some high speed flash shots (that’s him in them), photographed his friend in her car, then drove out to the Mojave desert in the middle of the night. We arrived just after midnight in a small town off the freeway. “Population 12″, according to the gas station attendant. After wriggling under an eight foot fence, we found ourselves in a graveyard of hundreds of skeletal remains of rusty old cars, illuminated by a 7/8th full moon. Fun times for sure!
